WORLDS WITHIN WORLDS — Review + Tips & Tricks:

Worlds Within Worlds is one of those platformers that looks simple at first… until you miss the same jump five times in a row and realize the game is quietly testing your timing. I went in expecting a quick platform game and ended up chasing the last golden leaf in a level for way longer than planned. The idea is straightforward: grab three golden leaves in every stage and bring life back to the trees. Actually pulling that off is where the challenge kicks in.

What the Game Is About
Each level drops you into a compact obstacle course packed with spikes, moving platforms, and enemies that love standing exactly where you want to land. Your goal is to explore the stage, find the three golden leaves, and reach the exit without falling apart along the way. The worlds change things up constantly, so just when you get comfortable, a new type of trap shows up. Some stages reward careful movement. Others feel like a race where you barely touch the ground before jumping again.

How to Play
Movement is tight and responsive. Run, jump, wall-jump, and keep your momentum going while avoiding traps. The tricky part is planning your path to collect every leaf without getting stuck or cornered by enemies. There’s also a neat two-player option. A second player can join as a little butterfly that helps by freezing enemies or stopping traps for a few seconds. The butterfly can’t finish the level alone, but having someone disable a spinning blade at the right moment can save a run.

Tips After Playing a Few Dozen Levels
• Don’t rush the first time you enter a level — look around for where the leaves actually are.
• Some leaves are placed to bait you into traps, so think about your exit path before grabbing them.
• Wall jumps are your best friend when things get messy.
• The butterfly helper works best when used right before a tight jump or enemy cluster.
• If you’re trying to move faster, learn the level layout — shortcuts start to appear once you know the map.

After the Main Worlds
Finishing the regular stages unlocks a mode that keeps generating new levels endlessly. It gets harder the longer you last, so it turns into a real endurance run. The farther you go, the more it demands clean jumps and quick reactions.

If you enjoy tricky platform challenges, you might also like:

Worlds Within Worlds is the kind of game where one more attempt turns into ten. You keep thinking the next run will be the clean one where you grab every leaf without messing up a jump.
