Pacman is the ultimate test of timing, reflexes, and pattern memory. You guide a speedy yellow chomper through a vibrant maze, collecting every dot while four crafty ghosts—Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde—try to corner you. Each ghost has its own personality: Blinky hunts relentlessly, Pinky sets up ambushes, Inky calculates tricky angles, and Clyde wanders unpredictably before making sudden dashes. Understanding their behavior is the real challenge, and that’s what keeps every round exciting.

The maze itself has its own rhythm. Ghosts alternate between “scatter” mode, where they retreat to their corners, and “chase” mode, where they pursue you. Planning your route around these cycles gives you an edge. Power pellets turn the tables, letting you briefly turn the hunters into the hunted. Keep in mind that the frightened timer gets shorter in advanced levels, so use power pellets strategically rather than stockpiling them.

Bonus fruits are more than decoration. They appear twice per maze and increase in value as you progress. Grab them if your path naturally crosses the center, but don’t risk a ghost collision just for extra points. Side tunnels are lifesavers—Pacman maintains full speed while the ghosts slow down, giving you space to reset your position. Quick turns around corners also let Pacman move ahead of pursuing ghosts, perfect for tricky escapes.

Easy starter route:
• Begin by clearing the top lanes during the first scatter phase; this minimizes early danger.
• Work down the right side, leaving some pellets near power pellets to control the endgame.
• When ghosts bunch up, lure them into a tunnel, hit a power pellet, and chain 2–3 ghost snacks for maximum points.
